Let me take the mystery out of quilt judging by discussing what judges look at in regards to quilt construction and design.
This is an approximately 30 minute lecture, with a question and answer session at the conclusion.
This workshop is ideal for inclusion in a guild meeting.

INTRODUCTION TO ENGLISH PAPER PIECING
Hands-on Workshop
An Introduction to English Paper Piecing will cover the history, shapes, supplies, glue vs. thread basting, various stitches, and conclude with the construction of a Grandmothers Flower Garden hexagon.
This is a 4 hour workshop and includes a complete kit to complete the project. Supplies needed are fabric scissors, embroidery scissors/snips, preferred thimble (optional).
This workshop is handwork only, no sewing machine needed.
$50 per person, minimum 5 students, plus travel.
